New Dog Park

There's a new dog park in Marysville and it is a 2 minute drive from our house.  We're so excited that we have somewhere close to take the dogs, and the kids just love exploring.

Coloring Easter Eggs

I wish I can say that the family has done some fun and crazy stuff this past month, but things have been pretty quiet.  The kids are in school 2 days a week for only a couple hours, Mike goes to work everyday, and I am still going to school and working.  Johnny and Shaine are growing up so fast.  Their 4 years old and both of them talk like their 10.  Don't get me wrong they definitely act like 4, but their language and vocabulary skills are pretty darn impressive.  I can share some examples: While driving the other day I said,"Hey look guys...it's a construction truck". Johnny responding in a frustrated voice correcting me saying, "Mom, that's a track-hoe".  He also saw a tiki pole and said,"Hey mom I saw that same structure on Little Einsteins".  Structure?  Wow...awesome!  Shaine does the same thing as well.  Johnny was telling a story the other day and he said, "3 baby ducks...", and Shaine said, "Johnny, if their baby ducks you have to say ducklings, not baby ducks".  I love these kids.  Wish I could video tape everything.  Reading books and enjoying them has truly expanded their literacy skills and I only hope it gets better.

Johnny was singing a song about coloring eggs.  It sounded like opera...it also looks like opera.

Wow...Shaine likes boiled eggs including the yolk.  Who would of thought??
