Compare and Contrast

Today Johnny weighed in at 8lbs. 12oz. He's really starting to get heavy. We decided to post a before and after picture to show how much bigger the twins have grown. We have yet to weigh Shaine and post a comparison picture.

Johnny was a little bent out of shape when his twin girlfriends Alexis & Kenzie were sporting shirts of their new boyfriends. He decided he wanted to show off HIS new girlfriend Jennifer Aniston. ---Little jealous are we????

Thanks again to our friends the Perkins Family for sending us a link to a website where newborns can get a greetings letter from the President & First Lady. We sent off the birth information of Shaine and Johnny weeks ago and they recieved their greetings in the mail yesterday. It was really cool and exciting to recieve mail addressed from the White House. Thanks Barack Obama and Michelle.

Thank You Grandma Mary & Auntie Gail

With the help of grandma & auntie Mike and I left the house together for the first time without the twins. Grocery shopping isn't exactly an evening out, but the 2 hours we were gone we missed our peanut & cracker-jack. We know the twins were in the best possible hands, but we love them soooooo much we had no desire to stay out any longer than we needed too. Thank you auntie Gail for the wonderful dinner, and grandma for the beautiful flowers from your garden.

Shaine Rolling Over For The 1st Time

The Talented Blue

Today was a lazy day around the house. After baseball we hung out at home and spent time with Blue and the babies. Alicia and Chris Perkins, new parents of twin girls, also stopped by for a short visit. It was so nice to see them and we can't wait to meet their little one's. While lounging around we also worked with our dog Blue in recognizing the word BABY and locating them. Thanks Blue Blue for being dang cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gangster Style

Today we spent allot of time upstairs moving around from the bed to the floor working on movements. We also decided to go gangster style and listen to hip-hop and dance around the room for about 30 Min's. The twins really liked mommy's dancing...as soon as I stopped busting a move they got a little upset. I'm determined to make sure at least one of our babes is going to have some rhythm.

All Tuckered Out

It was such a beautiful day today so we stayed busy!!!!! After allot of time hanging out upstairs doing tummy-time, a long stroll outside, and some more fun on the floor the twins were all tuckered out.

Taking another Stroll

Today we took another stroll around the neighborhood. The weather was allot warmer so we took an extra long walk. Not only was it good for mommy, but the fresh air must be a delight for the twins. We just wish daddy was home to join us, but he knows we're thinking about him all the time. HURRY HOME DADDY, and we're glad the team is winning.

Daddy's gone for Baseball

Today we spent some quality time with daddy before he left for his basball tournament. The twins had a great day spending their time on their belly's and hanging out on the floor with daddy. We also went for a walk around the neighborhood and Blue came along. It was so much fun, but time goes by quickly when you're having fun...especially with the people you love the most!!!

Waking up for Lunch

This is just a short video of Johnny slowly waking up for lunch. Today daddy has baseball practice so it's going to be another long day without him. Grandma Mary is coming over to spend some quality time with the twins while daddy is away.

FUSSY & FRUSTRATED WITH MOMMY

Everyday we try to spend time on our belly's. Some of those days are better than others. For the most part both babes squirm around working on their neck muscles without a fuss. Today was not one of those days. The twins were frustrated with their tummy time. Please don't be disturbed by this video...their tummy time ended as soon as the video did. All is well in the Dragland household except for 2 babies who were very angry with mommy.

TODAY'S WEIGH IN

Today I took time out before the twins feeding to get their weight. After deducting the weight of the clothing and diaper the twins have gained more weight. Shaine weighed in at 7lbs. 7oz. Little Johnny is catching up quick to his little-big sister weighing in at 7lbs. 5oz. That's approximately 3 lbs. of weight gain since birth!!!!

We would like to give hugs, kisses, and a huge THANK YOU to Grandma Mary. Prior to the arrival of our twins grandma Mary has done so much for us. From giving me rides to the hospital when on bedrest to making dinners, buying us food, clothes and other big items for the babies... we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We spent the day at grandma's house and once again she went out of her way for the twins!!!! The Easter gifts are beautiful. Saying thank you over and over just doesn't seem to say enough. We enjoyed our day with you and our cousins...WE LOVE ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!
