Cutting Down the Christmas Tree

It's our 3rd year to the Christmas Tree Farm and it's becoming much more fun now that the kids are 2.  The train ride take us down and around the trees, and then drops us off at the far end of the park.  Johnny and Shaine just love the train, but boy were they hilarious when it came to picking out a tree.  Whenever we walked by a young tree (1 to 2ft. tall) Johnny would say, "Cut this one...I want this tree..I like this little tree dad."  It was sooooo freaking cute.  Once again we went a bit overboard and cut down what we thought was an 8ft. tree, but it's more like a 12ft. tree.  Oh well, it's beautiful and we all love it!  Later that evening we went to the Marysville Christmas parade which lasted about 30 minutes, but the kids enjoy it.

Down it goes!!

I had Blue sit in front of the tree to try and give everyone an idea of how big it is, and I could barely fit the the star into the photo.

Warm Beach Holiday Lights

Warm Beach is the name of a small community about 25 minutes from our house.  There is a big display of Christmas lights and a few fun things to do with the kids.  Enjoying our week with Mike before he heads back to work on Monday.

The train ride was really loud so Shaine had to cover her ears...so cute.

Thanksgiving

On Thanksgiving we spent the Holiday with grandma and grandpa in Bellingham.  Their 2 dogs Lacey and Abby both had a litter of adorable pups.  It was a great dinner and the kids just loved the puppies.

Around the House

I took this picture of the kids just sitting quietly in their room together reading books.

Johnny said he was doing homework...because that's what mommy is usually doing when she's on the computer.

Believe it or not Shaine carried all these animals down the stairs in one trip.  This is the crew that usually sleeps with her at night.  We had to carry them all back upstairs when it was time to go too bed.
