WHAT?...When did you start counting to 10??

On Friday Feb. 24th the kids and I were talking on our web-cam to grandma and grandpa in California.  We were wishing grandpa a Happy Birthday!!  Johnny and Shaine love getting up on a chair and looking into the computer screen making faces, sounds, chatting and laughing with our family.  The twins will be turning 2 in March so grandma started to ask them, "how old are you going to be?"  The kids were trying to hold up two fingers, and then all of a sudden Shaine starts counting to 10!  I couldn't believe what I was hearing.  I didn't even know she could count to 3, let alone 10!!  I asked her to do it again, and off she counted...1,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10!!!  For some reason she skips number 2, but I don't care because I didn't even know she could count.  My grandma and grandpa couldn't believe it either!!  What a wonderful surprise for all of us.  I couldn't wait for daddy to get home so we could share it with him.

1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, "10!"

Cousin Andraya stays the night

This past Wednesday Grandma Mary and cousin Andraya came over to babysit the kids while mommy ran over to the college.  It's always nice when family comes over.  The kids get so excited to see grandma and their cousins.  Andraya decided to stay the night with us that evening, and the twins just loved it!  Thank you grandma for coming over and helping out, and thank you Andraya for spending so much time with kids and staying up late with Auntie.

The kids love to tummy race down the stairs, and I was finally able to get a video of them thanks to grandma and Andraya.  We loved having you over Andraya...thanks for the company and fun!!!!

Helicopter & "Andraya"

This is really cute. For those of you who don't know Andraya's little brother is Camryn(cousin). When Andraya leaves the room Johnny calls for Camryn, then realizes he meant Andraya.

Shaine Singing

Just about every morning we wake up together and drink some milk while watching Sesame Street.  Elmo is Shaine's favorite character, and Johnny likes Ernie and Grover.  This morning while I was putting clothes away Shaine just started to sing the theme song to Elmo's world.  I couldn't believe it!!!!  My little girl is singing.  This afternoon while I was getting ready to mop the floor Shaine started to sing again.  I was able to catch it on video!!!!!  For those of you who don't know...I sing to these kiddos every single day.  I sing about taking baths, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, you name it and I sing about it!!!  This is very exciting and I hope daddy enjoys it!!!!!

A Beautiful Weekend for Doggie Disneyland!!!!!

The weather forecast was for clear skies and sun so we decided to spend the day at the dog park.  This is great for the whole family because Blue can swim and run, and then we head to the playground for the kids.  It was so  beautiful outside  and we couldn't have been more excited to have cousin Sienna spend the day with us.  Here are pictures of us hanging out at Marymoore dog park in Redmond.

Around the House

The twins have been doing so much on their own lately.  As a matter of fact they insist.  Everyday they're saying something new, trying different things, and always making us laugh.  Shaine likes putting on her hat and mittens, and ofcourse walking around in mommy slippers while Johnny likes to put on his mittens and throw things...ha ha ha.  Below are pictures of the kids around the house and videos of them brushing their teeth and sucking up some spaghetti noodles.

Rolling Skating

Johnny and Shaine's cousin Sienna celebrated her 8th birthday party at the Skate Deck in Everett on Friday evening.  We tried to push/pull the kids on roller skates, but it was just too difficult for them.  It was really nice to see Sienna and all her friends having a great time roller skating!!
