Halloween is just around the corner

Halloween is right around the corner and boy are the kids excited!  We pulled out our decorations about a week ago, but didn't decorate our porch until yesterday.  We still have a few pumpkins to carve and the kids have their costumes.  Well, Shaine is going to be a princess, but she might mix and match her outfit...whatever makes her happy.  We'll be taking the kids trick-or-treating around our neighborhood this year...soooo excited.  This past Saturday we took them to downtown Arlington for Halloween where we went to all the shops and collected candy.  It was totally raining which sucked, but Johnny and Shaine did so good.  They would say "trick-or-treat" and wait for their candy....soooooo freaking adorable.  I took the kids to the Children's Museum last Wednesday and it was a great time!  We had the run of the place because it was totally empty.  I really like it when there isn't allot people because it's easier to keep track of the kids when I'm by myself.  When we went to the roof to play on the playground we were the only kids out there. We had a great time.

Here we have Shaine walking around with her beautiful princess dress, and then there's Johnny with a bag on his head...what a ham!

Trick-or-Treating in downtown Arlington in the rain.

Of course we take our doggie Blue with us...I mean our Skeleton dog.

It never fails...if he can climb on it...he will.

Johnny milking the cow at the Children's Museum.  He was say "MOOOOOO" when I took this picture.

The kiddos flying the airplane together.

The water station is always a favorite for the kids.  It's tough trying to get them out of here.
Listen...I know Johnny's shirt is a bit scary for a 2yr. old, but he's the one who picked it out and insisted on having it for Halloween...he just loves it...I think it's great.  At home Johnny and Shaine like to go into the closet and close the door see it glow in the dark.

Here we are at the train track area.  It's a pretty big play space with spots for the kids to crawl underneath and play with all the tracks.

We were the only people in the snack room for lunch.  This was a first.  That tells you how slow it was at the Museum on this particular day.

Here we are on the roof where the playground is located.  Once again we were the only kids on the playground.

 Shaine digging for dinosaur bones.

Check out this crazy slide...I couldn't get Shaine to get off of it...she loves it!!!

Here are kids climbing in the linen closet.  I found Johnny laying on the second shelf with his blanket saying, "Mommy it's comfy here."

MONSTER EYES!!!!  Johnny and Shaine are hilarious.  They like to see pictures of themselves with Red Eye.  The call it "Monster Eyes".  Below is Johnny with his new Cars Jammies.  Size 4T...seriously?????  4T, but there's room to grow.
