6 Month check up at the Dentist Office

I am so proud of Johnny and Shaine today.  It was their 6 month check up and it was the first time they didn't want to sit in mommy's lap.  They both climbed up into the chairs without hesitation.  I just love our Dentist and all his associates.  The assistants were so sweet with the kids.  Both Johnny and Shaine got to pick out a Disney movie to watch while getting their teeth cleaned, and they also picked out the flavor of fluoride.  Shaine chose cookie dough.  This would be their 4th visit and we just want to say that Dr. Lugo at Marysville Children's Dentistry rocks.

The Dog Park and the OIympic Game Park

We took a ferry ride over to the peninsula and visited  the Olympic Game Farm.  We had such a great time feeding the animals and getting chased by buffalo.  We also went swimming, and took a hike down to the ocean at the Dungeness State Park.  Unfortunately I forgot my camera on the hike, but it was a great get away for the weekend.
A couple weekends ago we had one day of dry and tolerable weather so we took the dogs to "Doggy Disneyland".  It was a needed trip for some fresh air and exercise, but after 2 hours the weather dropped to about 46 degrees so we hit the road.  Blue and Cooper are in heaven and we can't wait for the weather to get warmer so we can spend more time out there.

OLYMPIC GAME FARM....here we are entering Yak Land

Look how tall these Elk are.  We drive a 4 runner and they were much taller than our truck too.  It was intimidating driving towards them, especially the animals with antlers.

Holy Moly...here come the buffalo.  Talk about intimidating.

Ice Cream Time!!!!

Getting Ready for bed at the hotel.  Shaine playing with her computer and Johnny with his animals.

Johnny has no fear of the water which is very scary for Mike and I.

      The Dog Park
This picture is just to give you an idea of how the beginning of our walk starts out at the dog park.  Like we have mentioned before this place is huge.

Collecting rocks to throw into the river

Shaine was getting a lot of grief from folks at the dog park for wearing this shirt.  It was pretty cute.

Cooper is so HAPPY!!!

The kids loved these 3 giant, fluffy, white dogs.  The were so beautiful and gentle.

BLUE

During the Spring and Summer sections of the park are closed off for the Great Blue Heron Bird.  They build their nests up in the trees and sometimes the fledglings will fall to the ground.  Without the leaves you can really see how big and beautiful all the nests are.  These birds have huge wings and are so beautiful when they fly over you or just sit in the river fishing.  It's an awesome thing to see.
