CABIN FEVER!!!
Today I decided it was time to get out of the house and take a walk in the snow. The past few days have been rain, hail, and snow. The high school was closed because of bad weather so we strolled on over to enjoy the fresh air and let Blue go crazy!! It is so great to have the new school right across the street. The turf is is soft enough to enjoy and everyone stays clean. We were the only ones out there and boy was it absolutely beautiful. This week has been tough being stuck inside, but mommy and daddy built an 8ft. tunnel with 2 large boxes for the kiddos to crawl in. Actually Mike, Blue, and I crawl in it too. Here are some pictures and videos of our week at home.

Our First Pair of Walking Shoes!!!!!
Yeah...how exciting and fun!!! We want to give huge hugs and kisses to our Grandma Mary for buying the twins their first pair of walking shoes. Both Johnny and Shaine are on the verge of walking and their first birthday is just around the corner. Grandma buys all her grandchildren their first pair of walking shoes and Sunday was that special day for the kiddos. What an incredible experience! Nordstroms is the place to go! The sales associate was extremely helpful with allot of knowledge in first time walking shoes. The babies had their feet measured (length & width), and were so quiet and cooperative with everyone. With their new pair of shoes each baby was given a Nordie doll, a balloon, and a photograph taken by the sales associate. We brought our own camera, but the picture taken by Nordstroms was placed in a cute envelope with a cute cartoon drawing on the outside stating it was their first shoes!! Grandma also decided to buy Johnny and Shaine cute little outfits to wear on their 1st Birthday. Thank you again Grandma Mary...we can't wait to see the twins take off running in their new shoes!

Just spending time at home
Not much going on this week except catching up on some rest. Grandma came over Saturday to watch the twins while Mike and I went car shopping. Thank you so much grandma Mary! We know it was a long day. Johnny is getting closer and closer to walking on his own....a little scary for mommy. Here's a couple short video's of Shaine with Blue, and Johnny moving around using his sister for support.

New Car Seats Pleeeeeaaase!!!!
Well, Mike and I have been ready for months to get new car seats for the twins. They can't stand being in their car seats...especially Shaine. We truly believe it's because they can't see anything when they're turned around. We decided to put them on the scale in hopes that they would be the legal size and weight to switch car seats. Just one pound away for Johnny, and 2 for Shaine. Oh yeah...and Johnny decided to start standing on his own when we were at the Library yesterday!!! What a little stud!!!!!!---check out my funny video!!!

SuperBowl Weekend 2011
It was a quiet weekend for the family. Friday we decided to skip the Marysville Library and head to the Everett Library. Allot more room for the kiddos to crawl around, but mommy had a little scare when another baby came crawling over to Shaine and Johnny with a pacifier in his mouth, and a very runny nose. I kindly let the parents know that he had a noticeable runny nose and I didn't want him around the kiddos. They just got over colds. I know this sounds arrogant, but I am so glad Mike and I stopped giving pacifiers to Shaine many months ago. Johnny never liked them, and Shaine never seemed to notice it was gone. Sorry if I offend anyone out there, but I find it sad and a little gross watching kiddos who are older than 1 walking around with pacifiers in their mouths trying to talk and slobbering all over themselves.---Anyways, we just hung out at home on Sunday watching football and playing with the twinsies. The kiddos love their basket rides...watch how they fuss when the ride is over. They do the same thing when we take them off the swings. Oh yeah...Shaine is starting to smile for the camera like Johnny does...silly babies.
