PLEASE READ----VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today's posting is about Noelle Joiner. Noelle is the 6yr. old daughter of a friend of mine and is currently fighting for her life. My friend Jennifer along with her husband and 2 other children have traveled across the country seeking medical help. Right now the family is at an emotional and financial struggle to save their little girl. Noelle needs Stem Cell Therapy and this will costs thousand's and thousand's of dollars. If you live in the Washington area near Marysville my husband and I are having a yard sale this weekend to raise money for the family. Please stop by and visit. If you would like to donate to the garage sale or in any other fashion please contact me by phone or e-mail...shellydragland@yahoo.com. I ask you to please pray for the Joiner family.
I also want to wish my wonderful and beautiful husband a Happy Birthday!!!! We love you so much!!!

Toddler Update
I recently discovered that there is large number of people keeping up with the Dragland Twin Blog. I just assumed a small group of family and friends were viewing the kiddos progress, but I was wrong. Because of this I feel I should give everyone, including myself a toddler update. It feels weird to say "toddler" when they're still my babies, but their actions say otherwise. Johnny and Shaine are now a year and a half young. We stopped drinking out of bottles about 3/4 months ago, but yes we're still in diapers. Johnny has peed in the potty once which was very exciting, and Shaine does other things that we find pretty amazing. Back in July Shaine peed on the floor, and then took upon herself to clean it up. She also wiped herself off. Mike nor I had told her to do this. We just can't believe how much she understands. She is so sweet and thoughtful at the age of 1. She will always get things for her brother Johnny.---Again, she does this on her own. If there is 2 sippy cups she gives one to Johnny, 2 toys...one goes to Johnny. She recognizes his toys, his blankets etc., and always thinks of him. Johnny will do the same, but you have to ask him. Johnny seems to be getting rougher and tougher as the days go by. Climbs, hits, throws, climbs, swings, climbs...did I mention he climbs on everything????ha ha ha. We eat 3 meals a day with snacks in between, and we're doing really good with our spoons and forks. We are having a bit of trouble with Johnny throwing his food on the floor and hopefully this will stop sooner than later. We wake at 7:30am and sleep 11/12 hours through the night. Then we take a 2 hour nap from 12:30-2:30. By 7:30pm the twins are down for the night. 2 friends wanted to know how Mike and I get the kids to go to sleep without a peep every time we put them down. Well, we have never strayed from our routine. Reading books to the kiddos is a huge part of our day...all day. They love their stories and we always read to them as soon as they wake up, and right before they go to bed. Oh yeah...Johnny is starting to say "please". Ball, boat, bee, up, down, no, ouch, bububub(Blue our dog), mommy, daddy, and few other things that are still a bit jumbled. Well, for those of you who read and view the blog thanks for stopping in and we hope you continue to enjoy Johnny and Shaine as they learn the ways of the world. We love you Johnny and Shaine. We love seeing the world again in a whole new light...through your little blue and green eyes.
