THE PUMPKIN PATCH!!!

Today was so beautiful!  There was no way we were going to stay inside.  We had to take advantage of this gorgeous day so we packed up and drove out to Bob's Pumpkin Patch.  Truth be told there is allot of farming in Snohomish county so we had many places to choose from.  We saw chicken's, horses, cows, and tons of corn.  There was a small playground for kids along with pony rides, train rides, and hay rides.  We jumped on the hay ride which takes you out to a huge pumpkin patch, and a corn maze if you choose.  It was hard trying to get good pictures of the kids, but they had a good time.

The kiddos have colds again, but this always seems to happen after spending time with other kids.  Here are a few photos taken on Friday after spending time at our local library.  We love our Teddy Grahams...especially the one with chocolate.

Can't wait for California!!!

Not much is going on around here.  Shaine is a bit under the weather, but aren't we all with this rain.  We're going to be visiting my family in California and we are all so anxious to get there.  It's hard not have grandma and grandpa here to watch their grand babies grow up, especially great grandma.  We see grandpa Dick and grandma Lynda at least once, maybe twice a month which isn't too bad since they live up in Bellingham, and we saw grandma Mary for the first time in 3 months.  It's so unfortunate that we only have one week with my family.  We talk about the babies allot and who they look like.  They both look like their daddy more and more, but I thought I would dig up some old photos of baby Shelly to show the resemblance of little Shaine and I.  We definitely have the same hair at the age of 1.  Enjoy!!

My Family

This is a little collage of photos I quickly put together of my family.  Mom(Kathleen), Dad(Bill), my sister Sherry, and my little brother Shaine...and me...Shelly.  My older sister Sherry is the one with the long, dark hair, and I have the long blonde hair.

Halloween Costumes

My grandma Corrine Smith made these costumes for my sister and I.  I was about 3yrs. old, and my sister Sherry 7yrs. old.  She's a queen, and I'm a little prairie girl.  I later wore the Queen costume when I was 7.  We both won most pretty in our school contest.

Beautiful Flowers

My hydrangea and other flowers bloomed beautifully this summer.  I just threw some seeds down late in the year and to my surprise they just kept growing.  This plant/flower is about 7ft. tall. 

YEAH!!!!! A NEW CAMERA!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!

Late Friday we had a wonderful surprise on our doorstep.  Grandpa Mike, and Grandma Mary bought us a new camera.  The camera that recently broke was also a gift from them.  We can't remember if it was a wedding gift or Christmas gift, but it's been so wonderful to have.  We love our new one...THANK YOU!!!...it was a great surprise.  Unfortunately it seems our computer is just too outdated to run videos from this camera, but we'll try to be more creative with our photos.  Here are some pictures I took of our morning routine.  We get clean diapers then snuggle up on the couch with blankets, animals, milk, and sesame street.  My cutie pies.
