Shaine's Drawings and More

We've been keeping the markers and crayons put away because the kids always find something more creative to do with them rather than draw, but we pulled them out to give them some creative time.  Right away Shaine said, "Look mom and dad, I drew an "S" for Shaine".  Sure enough Shaine drew her first "S" so I had to take a picture of it.  She also drew me a happy face and a sad face.

I opened up the garage to pull some toys out and I turn around to see this...I ran and grabbed my camera just in time.  For those of you who don't know Johnny is the best helper.  He wants to do everything from laundry, to mowing, and as we see hear bringing in the garbage cans.

 This picture below is Johnny moving the recycling bin...it's huge!!  Look at him go!  I asked him if he needed help and his response was, "NO MOM...I'M STRONG."

It was really hot and sunny the first part of the day so we threw on the swimsuits and played in the backyard.  Wish it was 97 degrees like it was in California today.

Johnny and Shaine in the Backyard

    Johnny has a real baseball/T-Ball bat and he wants to use it all the time.  The rule is he can only use it in the backyard when mommy and daddy are around to supervise, otherwise it's wuffle bats only.  Here he is hitting live pitching from dad.  Shaine has been dressing herself lately and this is what she wanted to wear the second half of the day...along with the new play jewelry she has.

We're letting Shaine's bangs grow out so without a hair clip she looks like a hot mess.

Cooper

For the next 3 weeks the Dragland family will be taking care of Cooper.  Cooper is Blue's brother.  Yes, we have 2 sets of twins in the house...Johnny and Shaine, and Blue & Cooper. Unfortunately Cooper's family cannot keep him anymore and he's going to need a new home.  Today is the third day we have spent with Cooper and he is an awesome dog.  He's very timid, but a big lover.  He is seriously overweight so we currently have him on a diet and he's been getting allot of exercise.  When looking at the photos you can see that Blue and Cooper resemble each other, but Cooper had his fur coat cut off so it makes it allot easier to identify him.  It is possible that we may adopt Cooper, but in order to make that happen I have to give up our 2 cats.

We ran by a local yard sale and I found a bag of dress up jewelry for Shaine.  It had over 30 necklaces, 27 rings, 17 bracelets, and a few earings. It cost me $2.  Here is Shaine putting on all the necklaces...silly girl.

This is Shaine giving Cooper a hug.  He was pooped because we took him running.
