TEETH!!!

I haven't taken allot of pictures lately, but I did forget to mention something...Johnny has his 2 bottom teeth.  It's a little strange at first because we're so use to seeing gums, but absolutely adorable.  It was almost 2 weeks ago when grandma Mary noticed the 1st tooth, and a couple days later mommy noticed the 2nd tooth.  Shaine is still all gums, but I'm sure she'll be getting her teeth soon enough.

I just wanted to share this beautiful photo grandpa Mike took during Mass on Sunday.  Although it was a very cloudy and overcast morning with a slight drizzle there was a bright & beautiful light shining through the church windows. 

IT'S A GLORIOUS DAY!!!!

Today Johnny and Shaine were baptized at our parish St. Mary's in Marysville.  We are so happy and so blessed!!  Grandma Mary and grandpa Mike attended the ceremony along with our dear friends Dustin & Honesty who stood in as Godparents for our sponsored God parent Sherry...my sister who lives in California.  This was a beautiful and exciting time for Mike and I, and we are so proud to share it with everyone.  The twins did pretty good during Mass, but Shaine did get quite fussy near the end.  I believe the Holy Water cooled her off after the baptism.  Thank you everyone for your love and support, and most importantly Our Lord and Savior!!

The Twins 1st Major League Baseball Game!!!

Thanks Jay B. for the AWESOME seats at Sunday's baseball game!!!!  Mike and I took the twins to their first baseball game...Mariners vs. the 1st place Texas Rangers.  Ofcourse mommy wore her Texas ball-cap while Johnny and dad geared up in their Mariner clothing.  Shaine's Mariner outfit was still a bit big so she sported her PINK!!!  The babies were sooooo good!!  Not one cry or fuss from either of them, and boy did they get tons of attention.  So much attention strangers were taking pictures of our twins...and ofcourse mom and dad ate it up.  We had a great time!!  Unfortuantely the Rangers lost, but we'll be seeing them in the playoffs.

Attempting to Crawl?????....

Time for a baby update!! Johnny and Shaine are doing great and growing so much. Johnny weighs 16lbs., and Shaine weighs 14lbs. with both of them the same in length...25"...approximately 2 ft. They're both sitting up, but still a bit wobbly. Daddy and I either sit with them or surround them with pillows in case one of them crashes and burns. Both kiddos are cruising all over the house in their walkers and becoming so curious of everything. Mommy has already started to baby-proof the house. Shaine reaches for everything & anything she can get her little hands on. Both of them are starting to respond to their names, and I think Shaine is starting to understand "no". I don't like using that word right now, but she grabs for the trash can, DVD player, etc. As for Johnny, he's our little scientist. He's a bit more laid back, but examines everything so closely. Whatever object is put in front of him he touches very gently and analyzes. Shaine is also attempting to crawl. She gets up on her hands and knees, but doesn't quite have enough strength to do much more. 95% of the time the kiddos are on the same schedule. They both go to bed at 7:30p, and wake up between 6:30 & 7am. Eating fruit and veggies along with their formula and so far they seem to like everything!! I'm so happy and blessed that I get to stay home with my babies. ---For those of you who have e-mailed and asked why I haven't been in any of the photos???...well, everyday I'm home alone with the babes and the only one around to take pictures. When Mike gets home from work it's usually family time and the camera is put away.

The Twins Came Down With Their First Cold

This past weekend daddy was sick with a cold, and today the twins seem to have caught the bug. It's really tough watching the babies struggle with runny noses, but that's all we can do. Comfort them and wait it out. Here are a few pictures of the babes from over the weekend and a short video of Shaine laughing it up at our dog Blue. Johnny and Shaine just love him to death, and of course Blue can't get enough of the babies.

A Short Story from the Book of Mike(before the twins arrived)

One evening Mike and I were having dinner at his Dad's(grandpa Dick & grandma Lynda), and one of the sides was green beans. When we were finished with our meal Lynda noticed that I did not eat my green beans. I explained that I have never liked them, and therefore will not EVER eat green beans. Of course Mike had nothing to say because his dinner plate was completely empty. Low & Behold...on the drive home Mike decides to share a little secret with me. He didn't eat his green beans either!!! When no one was looking he was slipping his green beans to the dogs!! It's O.K kiddos...mommy and daddy don't like green beans. We don't blame you one bit for spitting them out!!!!

Letters From Sarah...

Johnny and Shaine have received their first official letters from their cousin Sarah in California. Sarah is about to start the first grade and already knows how to sound out her words and spell. Mom & Dad read the letters to the twins, and there reaction was what we expected...they wanted to eat them. Enjoy the first grade Sarah, and good luck to cousin Adara who is starting high school!!! We love you and miss you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
