Blue and the Fed Ex Man

For those of you who don't know much about our dog here's another short story from the book of Blue.
Over the Christmas Holiday many of us see the UPS and FED EX trucks in our neighborhoods on a daily basis.  Our Fed Ex Truck Driver keeps doggie milk bones in his truck,  and whenever Blue is outside during his deliveries he gives him one.  It only takes one time with Blue and he'll always remember you.  The next time the Fed Ex driver came around Blue jumped right into his truck and found his box of milkbones...I was so embarassed, but the delivery guy didn't mind one bit.  Blue gets so excited the other day he jumped in to the UPS truck!!  Once again I was embarrassed, but it makes me laugh and so happy to have such an awesome dog.  Saturday morning we had a delivery that none of us were aware of.  When we opened the door this is what we saw...

New Bedrooms

We finally finished setting up Johnny and Shaine's new bedrooms.  They've been sharing a bedroom for 3 years and so we decided it's time to give them their own rooms.  Both of the kids were extremely excited to get bunk-beds in Johnny's room.  Something new to climb on.  Mike and I knew there would be an adjustment period for them sleeping alone, but so far that hasn't happened.  The first two nights they slept together on the top bunk of Johnny's bed, and the next 2 nights they slept together in Shaine's bed.  So cute...always asking for each other.  Thank you Grandma Mary and Grandpa Mike for passing down the bunk beds and getting the kids new bedding for their birthday.

WAR HORSE!! THANK YOU MOM and DAD!!

This past Sunday Mike and I went to see the Broadway play War Horse with Dick and Lynda (grandma and grandpa) and it was absolutely astounding.  I think I cried through the entire show...it was so wonderful.  We had an excellent time.  I brought my camera, but forgot to take pictures so I posted some images and a video from the Internet.  Thank you grandma Mary and Andraya for watching the kids so we can have a day out.

WAR HORSE Video Montage

Legion Park

The sun was out Tuesday so I took the kids to Legion Park.  We played hard and had a picnic.  It was a good day!

This is our view from the playground!

The day before these pictures were taken Shaine and Johnny had put Baby Oil and Vaseline in their hair thinking it was hair gel...thanks to their cousin Andraya.  I thought I washed their out hair pretty good, but as you can tell by these photos it takes allot of washing to get out that greasey oil.

Shaine was under the weather yesterday morning so here she is with crackers and water watching T.V.

GO!

This may not be the most appropriate video to post, but I couldn't help myself.  What she says is soooo funny to me.  Kids say the darnest things.

Building, Friends, and a Birthday Party

This week we've been working on getting Johnny and Shaine's  bedrooms ready, had an adorable visitor, went to a birthday party, and Shaine's block building is getting more intricate.  Not much more to say other than enjoy the pics.
The first picture is a "bridge" that Shaine built a couple weeks ago, and the next 3 photos is a "farm" she built tonight.

Our neighbor Amber stopped by to visit with her little baby boy Levi.  He's such a cutie!

Our neighbor and good friend Charolette celebrated her 2nd birthday on Friday.  It was a prince and princess party so Shaine picked out her dress and NO JOKE...Johnny remembered a tie that he had in his dress up clothes so he insisted on wearing it so he can be a handsome prince.  So freaking cute!  I had nothing to do with it...all his idea.  Oh yeah...Snow White showed up to the party!

I came downstairs and this is what these to cutie pies were doing...dancing together.  So glad I had my camera in my hand.

This is Charolette the birthday girl.  An adorable Snow White!

Here we are winding down from the birthday party.
