Our dad Richard Dragland took a trip to San Antonio, Texas for one of his veterans meetings and collapsed today.  He is currently in the emergency room, but we have no further details at this moment.  Lynda (wife) and Mike are flying out tomorrow to be by his side.  We ask for your prayers.
 

WE STARTED PRESCHOOL TODAY!!!!!

Johnny and Shaine started their first official class of preschool today.  On Monday we had orientation so the kids can meet their teacher and explore their classroom, and today is their first day without mom and dad.  Oh boy, I had a feeling the kids would get upset when they found out mommy was leaving.  They entered the classroom and picked out their name tags, but as soon as I started to walk out both of them started crying and chasing after me.  I had to shut the door and head out quickly.  I wasn't sad about leaving them because they are only in school 2 days a week for a couple hours a day, but it was tough not being able to console them.  I pick them up at 11:30 so I'm anxious to see how they're doing.  The kids are enrolled in a Christian Preschool and both Mike and I are excited to see them learn and grow.

HAIRCUTS!!!!

Johnny and Shaine are starting preschool on Thursday so we went in for haircuts a couple days ago.  The kids love going to the hair salon at Kids-Kutz in Everett.  Cornelia, the owner and woman who cuts their hair is totally awesome.  She's quick, precise, and super sweet to the kids.   We were trying to let Shaine's bangs grow out, but because of the haircut accident a couple months ago we had to go with the bangs again to make everything look nice and even.  She looks cute and Johnny is a handsome devil.

The Fair!!

Friday turned out to be a gorgeous day and so we all went to the Fair.  Grandma Mary joined us and surprised the family  by paying for our tickets.  Thank you so much for joining us on an outing.  I think this was the first time grandma went somewhere with us other than a playground or restaurant so it was nice to have family join us on such a fun day!  2 years ago we took the kiddos to the Fair and I was able to snap the same photo.  My-Oh-My how they grow so fast.
