Johnny's New Bedroom

We're turning the guest room into Johnny's new bedroom and we thought we would surprise him by putting up his new wall border while he napped.  As you can tell he was pretty upset because I had told him earlier in the day that we can all work on it together.  He got over it pretty quickly when we started putting the bunk-beds together.

These two were running around the house giving each other zerberts I had to grab the video camera!!  They're so cute playing together I just love it.  They'll zerbert anything now...a foot, a hand, an arm, a cheek.  Be careful when they ask to give you a kiss on the cheek...there might be a zerbert coming your way!

IT'S OFFICIAL- NO MORE DIAPERS! WE'RE POTTY TRAINED!!!

     Yep, you heard right...Johnny and Shaine are using the potty all the time!  They did it before they turned 3 and I'm so proud of them both.  They've been doing so great at home and I finally decided it's time to leave the house without diapers.  We've gone shopping, to the playground, and on a long walk.  All 3 trips the kids have told us when they needed to use the potty.  No accidents.  Shaine had to go "peep"(that's what she calls it..."peep") on our long walk today, but she held it until we made it home.  I was not expecting that.  We're still wearing diapers to bed, but when we run out of those we might be switching to pull-ups.  Mike and I are so proud of them.  What's really hilarious is how they both yell at Mike and I to get  out of the bathroom when they're going.  They want their privacy.  It's so cute.  Way to go kiddos!  I asked Shaine "What should we do to celebrate"?  She said "Ahhh, maybe some balloons".  So that's what we did.  We took them to the craft store to pick out 2 balloons each.

Birthday Party at Pump it Up

     The twins were invited to Lexi & Mackenzie's 3rd (twins too) birthday party over the weekend.  It was our first time at Pump it Up and the kids had a blast.  Thank you Perkins family we had a great time.  We are also anxiously waiting to hear about the birth of the 3rd child...so excited for you guys!  Well, with all the kids running around everywhere most of my pictures turned up blurry.

 This is where Mike received a pretty good burn on his arm from rubbing it on the way down.  Poor Shaine looks like she's getting smashed.

For those of you who don't know this is where Blue sits when we eat.  Right between the two highchairs.

 Shaine loves her balloons.  She fell asleep holding it.  Thanks again Perkins family for the balloons!

Enduring the Cold and Fog

     It's been so cold we've been spending allot of time indoors.  We had 6 consecutive days of fog and freezing temperatures. There wasn't allot of outdoor activities taking place. We decided to take the kids bowling and they did great!  Johnny likes to throw the bowling ball like a baseball, and Shaine rolls it.

     Last night after putting the kids to bed Shaine came walking out of the room saying, "I can't sleep anymore".  Mike says, "What do you mean you can't sleep?"  When he walks into the bedroom he finds every single stuffed animal in the house in Shaine's bed.  It was the funniest thing...and she was laughing about it as well.  We managed to place most of the animals on the floor, but many of them remained in her bed.  You can't miss the huge puppy dog laying on top of her.  She had 2 of those big dogs in her bed, but we insisted she had to remove one.  We also set up a chair next to her bed with some of her favorites.  I snapped a few pictures after she fell asleep.
