It's been a wonderful Christmas for the Dragland family! Daddy had taken a whole week off of work and boy did we stay busy. We did everything from going to Warm Beach to look at x-mas lights, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. On Dec. 23rd Mike and I went to the 5th Ave. theater to see A Christmas Story musical which was outstanding!!! Thank you grandma Mary for babysitting. A HUGE THANK YOU to all of our family for being so loving and generous. The twins love all of their toys, and we love all of you!!
There has also been a few developments with the babies. Daddy has taught Shaine how to wave hello, and grandma Mary has taught Shaine how to hold up one finger when saying "number one". Shaine has also pulled herself up onto her feet, but unfortunately daddy and I missed it. She was sitting in her crib and next thing we know she's standing. Johnny is now crawling all over the place along with Shaine. These two kiddos don't leave each other's side. Where one goes the other follows. Johnny will wave his hand occasionally when saying hello, but boy is he a little ham. When we take pictures of him he'll make a funny face and show his teeth. It's almost like he knows what we're doing. You'll notice his funny smile in some of the photos. Happy New Year Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

December 12, 2010
As of last week Shaine is starting to get her first 2 bottom teeth where Johnny has six. The babies are also starting to explore the house allot more with Shaine crawling around everywhere, and Johnny starting to move forward using one leg in an attempt to crawl. Dad has already put up a baby-gate on the top of the staircase, but it looks like we might have to put one on the lower level as well. Shaine is getting up on her knees all the time trying to get higher and higher. We've also removed the crib bumpers and we just might have to lower the beds because Shaine is pulling herself up, and soon enough she'll be on her feet. There's a few pictures and videos we want to share, but our X-Mas tree is so high it was really tough to fit it into the photos.

9 Months Old & Our First Christmas!!!
The twins are now 9 months old and time has flown by. Not only have they changed so much physcially, but their personalities are getting bigger and bigger everyday. Johnny now weighs 18lbs.and 6oz., and Shaine weighs 16lbs. 2oz. Johnny maybe 2 pounds heavier, but Shaine has grown 1 inch taller than Johnny. Both babies always respond to their names, smile and laugh all the time, and are very active. Johnny has 6 teeth and Shaine has none, and Shaine is crawling all over the place while Johnny is now sitting up on his knees. I can go on and on with all the funny things they do, but dad and I really enjoy all the baby talk they're doing....ex:da da da da, ma ma ma ma, ga ga ga ga, ba ba ba ba ba, and of course singing and a little yelling.--Oh yeah, and they definitely know what yum yum means...food!
Saturday afternoon we went out to a tree farm in Arlington where you browse around and cut down your very own X-mas tree. It was such a beautiful day and what a great experience for all of us! Dad did all of the hard work of cutting down the tree and tying it up, and then we went home and decorated it. The babies love the tree, and of course all the pets do too. Did I mention the tree is 12 ft. tall??

Our First Santa Pictures
We decided to go shopping at the Everett Mall in search for some new shoes. We noticed that the Santa Photo station was open so we wondered over to look at the hours of operation. Low-and-Behold...Santa was there all by himself, and he walked straight over to the babies and started playing with them. He was the cutest most jolly Santa I have ever met!! On a whim we decided to take pictures with him. Shaine cried a bit because she's starting to recognize people who are not mommy and daddy, but the elves were able to snap a pretty good picture. Santa did not want to give up Johnny. Little Johnny just smiled and Santa let him play with his whiskers. It was awesome that we were able to take our time and enjoy the moment without all the hustle and bustle of the Christmas shoppers.
