Do You Like Math???

For those of you who have asked the question, "when is it a good time to call?" I leave you with a bunch of numbers to figure, and our schedule.---With newborn twins we feed them every 3 hours...5am, 8am, 11am, 2pm, 5pm, 8pm, 11pm, 2am. 8 feedings in a 24 hour period. This equals 2 bottles a feeding which comes to 16 bottles a day. Both babies drink 3 oz. at a time and that comes to 42 oz. each day. Each time we wake the babies, or vice versa, it takes at least one hour to feed them, change their diapers, and then rock them sleep. This leaves an hour-&-a-half to 2 hours for Mike and I to sleep before the next feeding. When Mike gets up for the 5am feeding he stays up until he goes to work. We each get about 3 to 5 hours of sleep in the night. I stay with the babies throughout the day and try to catch naps when they do. ---Diapers...I did a diaper count yesterday. We went through 36 diapers yesterday. Everyday differs, but an average of 30 diapers a day. So...when is it a good time to call????...who knows.
